Preservation Education Award, 2005

Voices and Visions of Village life received the annual Preservation Education Award for 2005 from the Rhode Island Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission. The award was presented at the 20th Annual Rhode Island Statewide Historic Preservation Conference in Newport on April 23, 2005, and signed by Frederick C. Williamson, State Historic Preservation Officer.

The award reads as follows:

Engaging scholars, educators, artists, performers, and residents in exploring the breadth and depth of Pawtuxet Villageís history, Voices and Visions of Village Life presents arts, humanities, and science programs that serve as a model for presenting, interpreting, and preserving the strong sense of place within a community.     To view full size award click Here
